OVERVIEW
In this Privacy Policy, “SagePoint” (also referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) refers to SagePoint and its subsidiaries and affiliates. This Privacy Policy describes the information SagePoint collects from or about you, why we collect it, how we use and store the information, and how we may share your information. This Privacy Policy applies to all SagePoint websites, brands, and services that link to this Privacy Policy or that do not have a separate privacy policy, referred to collectively as the "Site."
Through the Site you can search for information relating to important life decisions such as senior living options, pet selection, college choices and more. You can search for information for yourself or for your loved ones. Our unique blog feature allows you to then share information with other people, such as family members and friends, and for you to communicate with each other. It is entirely your choice, whether and with whom you share information.
The Site provides links to other websites that may be relevant to your searches. The Site also presents options for exploring and purchasing products relating to your searches. We do not utilize pop-up advertising and it is entirely your choice whether you explore any website links or product offerings.
The Site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
It is important that you read and understand the entire Privacy Policy before using our services. By using the Site, you consent to the Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION COLLECTION, USE, AND SHARING
1. Information You Provide To Us
We collect information from a variety of sources in order to provide you with the best possible service. We collect and store the information you provide to us. We collect and store any information you enter on the Site or give us in any other way, including the sharing and blog features of the Site.
When you create a user profile for Site we ask you for a user name, password, birth year, and email address. For example, when conducting a search of senior living facilities, we ask you to provide your year of birth (if the search is for you) or the birth year for the person for whom you are conducting a search. We do not ask for complete birth dates, Social Security Numbers, or any financial or medical information.
Your decision to provide this information is voluntary, but if you choose not to provide requested information you may not be able to take advantage of all of the Site's features.
In using our blog feature, you choose to post information and share that information with others. Please remember that when you share information publicly, it may be visible to search engines and indexable, so be responsible and sensible when sharing information and posting on the blog.
We regularly review the sharing and blog content of the Site to:
- Assess whether our services are meeting the users’ needs;
- Identify where improvements or additional services may be needed;
- Detect, prevent, or otherwise address misuse, fraud, security or technical issues; and
- Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of SagePoint, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.
2. Information We Collect When You Use the Site
In addition to the information that you choose to submit to us, we and/or our service providers automatically collect and store certain information when you visit or interact with the Site (“Usage Information”). This Usage Information may be stored and/or accessed from your personal computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone or other electronic device whenever you visit or interact with our website.
Usage Information includes:
- Your Internet protocol (“IP”) address or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”);
- Your device browser, operating system and mobile network information;
- The areas within the Site that you visit and your activities there, including remembering you and your preferences;
- Your general location; and
- Certain other device data, including the time of day you visit the Site, among other information.
We also collect information from your use of our services, including, but not limited to, your searches, blog and email communications, and product and related link interest. We collect information about the services that you use, how you use them, how you may share them with others, and any products that you may review or purchase. Our systems analyze your content to provide you with customized search results and relevant product and service features.
We collect information when you contact or correspond with us. We keep a record of user communications to: help solve any issues; respond to your requests; analyze and improve our services; communicate with you; and investigate any breach of our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or applicable laws or regulations.
Additionally, when you register to use the Site, we ask you whether or not you want to receive email alerts from us. We are constantly reviewing and updating our database. Communication through email allows us to provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant information. For instance, we may send email alerts informing you of additional senior living facilities meeting your Wants or Needs that have been added to our database. You may visit the My Profile page at any time to opt out of these email alerts.
We and our affiliates and partners use various methods and technologies to collect and store Usage Information when you visit the Site, which may include using cookies, web beacons, embedded scripts, entity tags, or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help improve your access to the Site and identify repeat visitors to the Site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on the Site.
We may use these technologies, or ones we incorporate in the future, for a variety of purposes, including:
- Prevention of fraudulent activity and improved security functionality;
- Assessment of the performance of the Site;
- To offer enhanced functionality when accessing the Site, including identifying you when you sign in to the Site or keeping track of your specified preferences;
- Data analytics; and
- To deliver content relevant to your interests on the Site and third party websites based on how you interact with our advertisements and/or content.
We keep personal information as long as it is necessary or relevant for our business. We also keep information to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and as otherwise required by law.
“Do Not Track” Disclosure
Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. Because SagePoint relies on third party networks who may track you across websites over time, we are not able to respond to your selection of the "Do Not Track" option provided by your browser. We cannot advise you on whether your selection of a "Do Not Track" option will have any effect on the collection of cookie information by the third parties who may collect such information on our site.
3. Information Sharing
We may share your information with our affiliates, subsidiaries, partners, and other interested parties to provide you with the most comprehensive services and improve user experience. For example, we partner with various businesses that assist with placement in senior living facilities and we may share your information with these partners to help you find the facilities that best meet your Wants and Needs. By using our website, you agree to let us share your information.
We release account and other personal information when permitted or required by law; to enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of SagePoint, our users, or others; or to comply with court orders, subpoenas, or other legal or regulatory requirements.
We use third-party vendors to perform certain services on behalf of us or our website services, such as hosting the services, designing and/or operating the services’ features, tracking the services’ activities and analytics, and data storage. We may provide these vendors with access to user information or they may directly collect your information to carry out the services they are performing for you or for us. Third-party analytics and other service providers may set and access their own tracking technologies on your device and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you, potentially including personal information, about you. We are not responsible for those third party technologies or activities arising out of them.
We may share aggregated data about user interests, demographics, products and services, and other collected information with our partners, advertisers, and other interested parties. Aggregate information is information from which individual information has been removed (e.g., your name and contact information so that you cannot reasonably be identified) and has then been combined with the data of other users.
As our business evolves, we might sell or buy subsidiaries, business units, or products or services. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. We reserve the right to disclose and transfer all such information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Site; or (ii) in connection with a merger, consolidation, restructuring, bankruptcy, the sale of substantially all of our interests and/or assets or other corporate change, including during the course of any due diligence process.

We take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure of user information, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information. Our safeguards include physical, technical, and administrative measures and procedures. When collect ing personal data, our technical safeguards include the usage of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which makes all connections to and from the Site and mobile application encrypted.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for restricting access to your computer or device through which you access the Site. If you disclose your password to anyone or share your account and/or devices with other people, you take full responsibility for such action.
We are not responsible for any transfers, theft, or loss of information resulting from viruses, hacking, and other computer crimes caused by third parties.

Some of our business partners may use cookies on the Site. However, we have no access or control over these cookies. Protection of your privacy at a third-party website will be governed by the privacy policy of that website. Please take the time to read the privacy policies of these websites.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post any material changes to the Privacy Policy with the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy on the Site. We will retain copies of all previous Privacy Policies in our system’s archives. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified.
